Objectives

The project pursues the following objectives:

  • Identify ribwort plantain genotypes with proven BNI potential and investigate the interaction with environmental factors,
  • find genes or molecular markers associated with BNI release,
  • decipher the exact mode of action, including dose-response relationships, of BNI-active metabolites in plantain
  • evaluate the effects of ribwort plantain on functional soil microbial communities.
